While we usually are filled with optimism and excitement this time of year as we get ready to travel to our annual conference location, unfortunately it was tempered this month when we received the extremely sad news that our friend and colleague, Darrell Bryan, passed away.
As many of you are aware, Darrell was an integral member of the Interferry family for more than two decades filling the roles of Member, Director, President, CEO and Chairman over the years. His passing leaves a void in our industry that will never be replaced. Darrell will always be remembered for his positive can-do attitude, as well as his dedication and commitment to Interferry and the industry in general.
For those of you in the Pacific Northwest area, a Remembrance Gathering will be hosted by Argosy Cruises in Seattle on October 24 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Shari and I will be attending on behalf of Interferry.
