German shipyard Meyer Werft handed over a new cruise ship to Royal Caribbean International on Wednesday, March 31.
Odyssey of the Seas has a length of 347.1 metres, a beam of 41.4 metres, and accommodations for 4,210 guests. It is equipped with exhaust gas purification systems, SCR systems, and a smart heat recovery system.
The vessel is scheduled to depart Bremerhaven on June 2, 2021, for Haifa, Israel, from where it will serve itineraries in the Mediterranean.
Odyssey of the Seas is the second and final Quantum Ultra-class ship to be built for Royal Caribbean.
