Oceania Cruises names first Allura-class ship

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' Oceania Cruises has officially named the first in a series of two new vessels ordered by the company from Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.

Vista will be Oceania's first Allura-class ship and the seventh vessel overall to join the company's fleet. It is scheduled to debut in 2023 while its yet unnamed sister will follow in 2025.

Oceania said the vessel will have capacity for 1,200 guests in addition to featuring personalised service, with a ratio of two staff members for every three guests.
