Norwegian Cruise Line’s first Prima-class ship launched in Italy

Italian builder Fincantieri launched a new cruise ship at its Marghera facilities on Friday, August 13.

The future Norwegian Prima is the first in a series of six that Fincantieri is building for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). Once completed, it will have a length of just over 300 metres, a displacement of 142,500 tonnes, and accommodations for 3,215 guests.

Norwegian Prima is scheduled for delivery in 2022.
