The Lindblad Expeditions vessel National Geographic Resolution was launched into the water for the first time on Tuesday, June 8.
The 126-passenger, polar-capable vessel is undergoing construction in Norway and scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2021. It is a sister vessel to National Geographic Endurance, which was delivered in 2020.
The vessel honours Resolution, one of the vessels in the fleet of celebrated explorer Captain James Cook.
