Celebrity Cruises has begun operational sailings of Celebrity Apex, the second Edge-class ship to join its fleet.
The 306-metre vessel was completed and delivered by French shipbuilder Chantiers de l'Atlantique in March 2020. However, its scheduled debut was postponed for over a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Celebrity Apex's first sailing is a seven-night cruise of the Aegean Sea. The ship departed Athens earlier this week and will make stops at Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, and Limassol in Cyprus.
