Carnival Cruise Line has confirmed that its next Excellence-class ship arriving in 2022 will be named Carnival Celebration.

The vessel will debut from Miami in November 2022, and will be a sister ship to Mardi Gras (pictured), the first in the Excellence-class scheduled to enter service on February 6, 2021, from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Carnival Celebration will be built by Finnish shipyard Meyer Turku. Onboard amenities will include one of the first roller coasters ever to be fitted on a seagoing vessel.
