Marine robotics company Ocean Infinity and geotechnical drilling firm Gregg Drilling, a subsidiary of Sealaska, have formed a joint venture with the aim of providing geotechnical data collection services to offshore markets in traditional and renewable energy field developments and cables.

As part of the joint venture agreement, Gregg will mobilise its seabed drills onto Ocean Infinity's fleet of uncrewed and optionally crewed vessels ranging from 21 to 78 metres in size.

The joint venture will also participate in activities that will aid in the design of future offshore wind anchors and foundations.
