Following the completion of the 2018 survey on the Bay State Wind development, EGS Survey has been awarded another contract in support of Ørsted's efforts in the United States.

The scope of work covers a geophysical survey to be carried out in the framework of the development of the Ocean Wind offshore wind farm, located approximately 24 kilometres off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey. The survey work will cover the different areas of the wind farm.

The survey vessel Neptune will be deployed on the project.

The 1,100MW Ocean Wind project will be New Jersey's first offshore wind farm. It is expected to provide electricity for over half a million homes.
