Atlantic Wind Transfers has secured a contract to provide offshore marine support services for the first offshore wind project in US federal waters.
Under the contract awarded by Dominion Energy, Atlantic Wind Transfers will provide a crewboat to be based out of Virginia's Hampton Roads region. The vessel will be designed by UK-based Chartwell Marine and built at the Rhode Island facilities of Blount Boats.
The Dominion Energy contract off Virginia is Atlantic Wind Transfers' second contract for crew transfer services in US waters.
