The Ukrainian Navy will take delivery of three decommissioned US Coast Guard patrol vessels beginning in May 2021 as part of a military aid package.

The three vessels will be the third through fifth ex-US Coast Guard Island-class cutters to be handed over to Ukraine after ex-USCGC Cushing and ex-USCGC Drummond (pictured), which were transferred in September 2018.

The first Ukrainian crews that will operate the three cutters are scheduled to begin their training in the US within the year.
