The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) recently took delivery of two patrol boats in a series from MetalCraft Marine of Watertown, New York.

The rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) each have a length of 10 metres, seating for a crew of four, and two Suzuki 223kW outboard engines that deliver a speed of 55 knots.

The boats will be used in both coastal and offshore waters to enforce state commercial and sport fishing regulations.
