Los Angeles Port Police commissions new patrol boat

The Los Angeles Port Police formally welcomed a new patrol boat into service on Thursday, February 13.

The newly commissioned 13-metre vessel, which has been christened Boat 42, has night vision cameras and nuclear, chemical, and biological detection equipment.

The US$1.5 million boat will be used for patrols and dive support duties in the waters of the Port of Los Angeles.
