Huntington Ingalls Industries' (HII) Ingalls Shipbuilding division has delivered the Legend-class national security cutter (NSC) Stone to the US Coast Guard.

The cutter is scheduled to sail away from Ingalls Shipbuilding's Pascagoula shipyard at the end of this year to its homeport in Charleston, South Carolina, where it will be commissioned into service in 2021.

The future Stone is the ninth Legend-class cutter to be built for the coast guard by HII.
