Huntington Ingalls Industries' (HII) Ingalls Shipbuilding division has completed the acceptance trials of the US Coast Guard's newest Legend-class national security cutter, the future USCGC Stone.

During the trials, the ship spent two days in the Gulf of Mexico testing its various systems.

The acceptance trials were conducted two weeks following the completion of builder's trials.

The future Stone is scheduled to be delivered later this year. It will be homeported in Charleston, South Carolina.
