John Bludworth Shipyard of Corpus Christi has handed over the first in a new series of three dredge tenders ordered by Houston-based civil marine contractor the Orion Marine Group.
The newbuild has been named Jesus F after former Orion employee Jesus Falcon. Mr Falcon worked with Orion for over 51 years until his retirement as a machinist foreman in 2019.
The tender will be used as a support vessel for Orion's dredging activities.
