Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding has won an order for a new vessel slated for the Associated Federal Pilots of Louisiana.
The Ray Hunt-designed all-aluminium vessel will have an LOA of 16 metres, a beam of five metres, a draught of 94 centimetres, and two Volvo Penta D16 477kW engines that will deliver a maximum speed in excess of 26 knots.
The pilot boat is scheduled to be handed over to its new owners in July 2021.
