The Queensland Maritime Museum Association is holding a raffle to raise money as part of the state's Q150 celebrations.
Queensland will celebrate 150 years of independence from New South Wales on December 10, 2009.
The museum is aiming to raise at least US$16,000.
The first prize of the raffle is a rare but fully-restored gas powered lantern. The closing date for the raffle is September 18, 2009. The winners will be drawn on World Shipping Day, September 25.
