The emergency services sector is one of the most diverse within the global maritime industry, and we are delighted to be once again featuring the highly capable vessels that perform vital roles in the areas of maritime safety and security. This week, we review law enforcement vessels for police and coast guard use in the Middle East and the United States as well as rescue craft for operators in Europe, Australia, and South-East Asia.

It is interesting to note that nearly all of this week's featured vessels are noticeably small in size with some even measuring no more than 20 metres in length. This indicates that emergency service providers place just as much emphasis on being able to access remote, restrictive areas as they do on ensuring vessels are durable and capable of carrying as much of their kit as possible.

We invite readers to continue to visit Baird Maritime for the latest news and features covering emergency service vessels in operation worldwide.
