Western Australia marine logistics company Jetwave Marine has taken delivery of two new eight-metre line handling boats in a series from Queensland builder BtB Marine.

Designed by Naval Architects Australia of Queensland, Jetwave Bingo and Stanley Point will be operated as part of Jetwave's Fremantle and Port Hedland port services divisions.

Each boat is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine driving a Hamilton waterjet. This combination delivers a maximum speed of 30 knots at full load and a cruising speed of 21 knots.

The newbuilds will also be used to support dive operations.
