Norwegian offshore service vessels provider SolstadFarstad has been awarded several contracts for Australian projects.
Woodside has booked two platform supply vessels (PSV), Far Seeker and Far Skimmer, for the Greater Enfield project.
Far Seeker will be used with a work-class remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) to provide efficiencies to the drilling campaign.
The contract, which starts in January, is for 12 months with 14 months of options.
McDermott International's affiliate, MAPL, has hired a general-purpose support vessel Far Stream, and pipe-haul PSVs for work offshore Western Australia with a combined vessels utilisation of 200 days when the contract begins in the first or second quarter of 2018.
Following the award for Far Saracen and Far Senator, Cooper Energy has contracted another anchor handler for its Bass Strait drilling campaign. The Far Statesman is being contracted for 100 days firm when it starts in the first quarter of 2018.
The values of all contracts have remained confidential.
Meanwhile, Statoil Brasil Óleo e Gás has awarded SolstadFarstad a two-year firm contract to the Brazilian-flagged PSV Sea Brasil.
The 2012-built, 4,700DWT vessel will support production activity at the Peregrino field in Campos Basin. The contract is expected to start soon, with two one-year extension options in place.
