Seaworld Cruises takes delivery of whale watching vessel for Gold Coast

Seaworld Cruises has taken delivery of a 24-metre whale watching catamaran for operation on Australia's Gold Coast.

Designed by Incat Crowther and built in the north-east state of Queensland, Spirit of Migaloo II has main deck, mid deck, and roof deck seating for 198 passengers in total.

The vessel also has a wine bar, a theatre, and a lifting platform on the stern for water level viewing of aquatic wildlife.

Spirit of Migaloo II is powered by twin Yanmar 6HYM-WET 478kW main engines driving fixed-pitch propellers. A service speed of 25 knots can be achieved at modest engine load.
