NYC Ferry, a New York City-based commuter ferry operator owned by Hornblower Cruises, recently took delivery of two passenger vessels in a series.

The Incat Crowther-designed catamaran vessels have been named H401 (pictured) and Curiosity. Each has a length of 29 metres, seating for up to 354 passengers, storage for bicycles, disability access, and EPA Tier IV-compliant low-emission engines.

The ferries were built at separate Louisiana shipyards: Halimar Shipyard in Morgan City and Breaux Brothers Enterprises in Loreauville. A third 29-metre vessel from the same series is currently under construction at St John's Shipbuilding in Palatka, Florida.
