Dear Mr. Baird,

I am a regular reader of your mail bulletin.

I also read today your editorial about TT Line vessels and I would like to congratulate you for your remarks about Finnish taxpayers.

This kind of "unfair" competition for sure destroy the competitivity of several companies, including sub-contractors like my company. When the local taxpayers do finance a shipbuilding deal, then only local suppliers and not internationally competitive companies get the order for sub-contracts.

We are afraid this trend of neo-protectionism or do-it-local-at-any-cost approach will be more and more expanded in the shipbuilding industry, post-Corona times.
