Incat launches new ferry for Trinidad and Tobago

Incat Tasmania has launched a new high-speed catamaran ferry into the water.

Named Buccoo Reef, the vessel will be operated by the National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) of Trinidad and Tobago. It will have a length of approximately 100 metres and capacity for 1,000 passengers and crew and 182 cars plus 175 lane metres of freight.

Four MAN B&W 16V 7,280kW engines will propel the ferry to speeds of up to 38 knots.
