Ocean Marine Jomtien, a marina resort complex based in Thailand's Chonburi province, has taken delivery of a new aluminium workboat from joint Thai- and Australian-owned shipbuilder SeaCat Ships.

The 9.6-metre OM6 will be used on duties such as towing, firefighting, sewage pump-out, search and rescue (SAR), and general marina support.

The centre console workboat features SeaCat Ships' proprietary landing craft design, which satisfies the rigorous Australian domestic commercial vessel guidelines for coastal services. Twin Suzuki four-stroke outboard engines will propel the vessel to a speed of 32 knots.
