Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has launched the future HMAS Stalwart, the second Supply-class auxiliary oiler replenishment (AOR) tanker ordered for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).

As a logistics support tanker, the vessel will provide bulk fuels, potable water, stores, and explosive ordnance to naval vessels operating at sea.

Stalwart and sister vessel Supply will replace the current replenishment tanker HMAS Sirius and the recently decommissioned HMAS Success.
