Western Australia-based volunteer search and rescue (SAR) organisation Marine Rescue Jurien Bay took delivery of its newest boat on Saturday, December 18.
The new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) Bay Watch has a length of seven metres, a Simrad radar, a Teledyne FLIR rotating camera, and two Yamaha outboards that each produce 111 kW. It will complement the Jurien Bay rescue station's existing catamaran lifeboat.
Bay Watch was built by Dongara Marine to a design by naval architects Southerly Designs.
