Australian boatbuilder Norman R. Wright and Sons (NWS) will soon commence construction of a new high-speed landing craft for the Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES).

The 20-metre catamaran will be used to perform a range of tasks including patrol operation, dive support, marine infrastructure installation and maintenance, and island park management.
