Austal has delivered the third of a planned 21 Guardian-class patrol boats to the Australian Department of Defence.

Designed and built for the Pacific Maritime Security Program, the vessel has been gifted to the Government of Tonga and will sail operationally as VOEA Ngahau Koula ("Golden Arrow").

The vessel will replace the patrol boat VOEA Neiafu, which has been serving with the Tonga Maritime Force since 1989.
