French port operator HAROPA will soon begin construction of a new river and sea port complex at Gennevilliers five kilometres outside Paris.

The multi-modal facility will have a total area of 90,000 square metres. It will be structured over four levels, linked directly to the Seine, and intended for the development of river transport and urban distribution for the Greater Paris region.

Australia-based logistics property developer Goodman, through its Paris office, has been selected for the project development scope as well as the subsequent management of the port upon completion.

Other port infrastructure will include an access zone, an underground parking area, a heat exchanger, a geothermal plant, and a solar PV plant.
