M&J Engineering, like many Australian marine equipment and service suppliers, grew out of the fishing industry. As with the West Australian lobster fishing industry of its origins, M&J has rapidly grown and developed in terms of quality, innovation, size and geography. It is now widely recognised as Australia's foremost supplier and servicer of marine propulsion systems.
"It's my individual experience of 27 years in marine propulsion and Darren's [Bozanich] 30-year experience in marine engineering," said M&J's Craig Bozanich when asked about the appeal of M&J Engineering to clients this past year, when the company celebrated 50 years in the marine industry.
In 2020, M&J will be able to supply the new Nakashima CNC-cut propellers of up to four metres in diameter, and new Mikado C-C cut propellers up to 3.5 metres in diameter for all commercial vessel applications in Australia and New Zealand.
