Port Nelson and the community welcomed Sealord's newest vessel, the Tokatu to Nelson with much fanfare last Friday.
Following a 40-day journey, the trawler arrived from its yard in Flekkefjord, Norway via the Panama Canal and finally onto New Zealand.
The impressive, purpose built 82.9-metre-long factory freezer trawler includes an on-board processing facility, full pack line, freezer storage and plush accommodation for up to 45 crew.
