Song Thu Shipyard in Danang, Vietnam, has recently launched a new Damen Salvage Tug 4612.
Hull number 553009 was launched on January 10, as the second tug out of a series of four.
The vessel was built for the Vietnam Marine Police and will be used for salvage jobs in Vietnamese waters. The first DST 4612 was delivered in February 2007 and has already salvaged a large number of ships since then.
