United Shipbuilding Corporation's Khabarovsk Shipyard laid the keel for the second Project 00440 tug on Tuesday, January 29.
Designed by Vympel, the 35- by 9.5-metre tug will be used for ship handling duties in the Port of Vladivostok.
The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2020.
