The final two in a series of four tugs ordered by the Karachi Port Trust have departed Turkey and are en route to Pakistan.

The Robert Allan Ltd-designed newbuilds were built by Uzmar Shipyard to perform terminal support and escort duties at one of the busiest deep-water seaports in Pakistan.

The BV-classed tugs each have a length of 32 metres, a beam of 13.2 metres, a maximum draught of 6.5 metres, and a bollard pull in excess of 80 tonnes. MLC 2006-compliant accommodations are available for up to seven crewmembers.
