UK: The Hutchison container port of Felixstowe has been shut down because of high winds and snow with trucks parked along A14 highway approaches to the harbour, BBC News reported.
Suffolk County Council is rationing road grit to priority routes and is conserving road salt. Rail services were running in the county, but 30 schools, mostly in the Felixstowe area were closed.
