Albatross takes Port of Blyth by surprise

The British port of Blyth has welcomed its largest ever vessel, with the arrival of Offshore Heavy Transport's Albatross.

Albatross.was carrying the E-class self-propelled, self-elevating well intervention barge GMS Evolution before works to the jack-up barge and its sister vessel GMS Endeavour.

Sailing under the flag of Marshall Island, the 204.3-metre LOA x 42.5-metre Albatross accommodates 39 people and has a range of 26,000 nautical miles at a speed of 14 knots.
