Baird Maritime

Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has signed a long-term charter contract to operate a 12,000-cubic-metre LNG bunkering vessel in Singapore with Pavilion Energy subsidiary Pavilion Gas (PGPL).

MOL and PGPL have teamed with Sembcorp Marine Specialised Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine Group, for construction of the vessel and bunker barge company Sinanju Tankers for a partner of ship management.

The 112- by 22-metre vessel will be the second LNG bunkering ship in Singapore. It is slated to start services after delivery to PGPL in early 2021.
