GasLog LNG carriers awarded time charters

Baird Maritime
GasLog is well known for its fleet, including GasLog Gibraltar.

LNG carriers operator GasLog Partners has secured time-charter agreements for two vessels with extension options.

The agreements with an unnamed party include a three-and-a-half year charter for GasLog Santiago to begin in the third quarter of 2018. It has options to extend the charter for up to seven years.

The 2013-built GasLog Santiago is on a multi-year time charter with a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell until the end of July.

The 155,000-cubic-metre, tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier will undergo a scheduled drydocking during the second quarter of 2018.

There is also a one-year charter for 145,000-cubic-metre steam vessel. Either Methane Jane Elizabeth or Methane Alison Victoria will be deployed in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The charterer has options to extend the steam vessel charter for up to four years.

Methane Jane Elizabeth and Methane Alison Victoria are chartered to a subsidiary of Shell until October and December 2019 respectively.
