China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) has delivered a newbuild liquefied ethylene gas (LEG) carrier to Hong Kong-based Pacific Gas.
Named Pacific Mercury, the vessel has a cargo tank capacity of 22,000 cubic metres.
The DNV GL-classed vessel has an LOA of 159.95 metres, a width of 25.2 metres, a depth of 17.2 metres, and a draught of 11.4 metres. Its four independent C-type double body cargo tanks can store ethylene at temperatures of up to minus 104 degrees Celsius.
