Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding cuts steel for 210,000DWT bulker pair

Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has cut the first steel for two new bulk carriers in a series.

Each vessel will have an LOA of 299.88 metres, a beam of 50 metres, a depth of 25.2 metres, and a deadweight of 210,000 tonnes.

One of the bulk carriers is slated for local company ICBC Leasing while the other is being built for an unnamed North American customer.
