Monaco-based Safe Bulkers has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of a Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel currently under construction at a Japanese shipyard.
The newbuilding will have a deadweight of 82,000 tonnes and an IMO Tier III-compliant main engine.
The vessel is scheduled to be completed and delivered within the first half of 2022.
