Japan's Tsuneishi Shipbuilding recently unveiled details of a new Ultramax bulk carrier design currently under development.
Each ship in the series will have a deadweight of 66,200, an LOA of 200 metres, a beam of 32.25 metres, a total cargo capacity of 81,500 cubic metres, and a draught of 13.8 metres. The vessels will also be fitted with technology that will help reduce wind resistance.
The design will comply with EEDI phase three regulations.
