Taiwan's Wan Hai Lines has placed an order for five 13,100TEU container vessels to be built by South Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries.
The five-vessel order follows an earlier order for 13 containerships of similar capacity placed by Wan Hai in 2021.
The deliveries of the five additional 13,100TEU ships will commence in 2024.
