Wallenius SOL has confirmed its plans to operate a new container and Ro-Ro feeder service from the Gulf of Bothnia and the Baltic Sea.
The service will encompass Skelleftea in Sweden and the Finnish ports of Kokkola, Kemi, and Oulu and will end at the larger container ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge. Sailings on the routes will commence later this year following the delivery of the company's newest ships.
Wallenius SOL General Manager Jonas Wahlin said the new fleet additions will increase container capacity by around 800 TEUs per ship on average.
