Finnish operator Containerships took delivery of Containerships Nord, its first LNG-powered vessel, at Wenchong Shipyard on Wednesday, December 12.
It is the first of three 1,400TEU vessels ordered by Containerships from the Chinese builder. The second and third ships are scheduled for delivery during the first half of 2019.
Containerships Nord measures 170 by 27 metres and displaces 17,982 tonnes.
