Exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) kicked off on June 14 between the Royal Thai Navy and the US Navy and Marine Corps.
The 24th iteration of the multi-nation exercise is designed to enhance naval capabilities in the region, "ensuring a free, open, and stable Indo-Pacific maritime security environment".
The Royal Thai Navy participated in exercises with the USS Mustin, USNS Brunswick and USNS Salvor and the marines conducted jungle warfare training and live-fire drills.
