The Bangkok Post reports that three people were injured after the tour boat they were riding in struck a berthed ferry and later sank in the Chao Phraya River in Thailand's capital city on Thursday, June 6.
The incident occurred at around 16:50 local time on Thursday when the unnamed tour boat struck a Royal Thai Navy ferry while the latter was pierside near Bangkok's Maharaj Road.
Three of the tour boat's passengers, who have been identified as Chinese nationals, suffered injuries as a result of the crash and have since been brought to hospital.
Authorities report that all of the tour boat's occupants have been accounted for and that there are no fatalities.
The tour boat subsequently sank while the ferry sustained only minor damage. Authorities are now planning for salvage operations as part of the investigation into the mishap.
