Seven divers are still missing after their dive boat sank off Phuket, Thailand. The vessel, 'Choke Somboon' was carrying 30 people when it capsized during a storm in the early hours of Monday morning (March 11). The dive boat was en route to a popular scuba diving site in the Andaman Sea.

Fishing boats yesterday rescued 23 survivors.

'Choke Somboon' sent out a distress call late on Sunday (March 8) night, however, contact was then lost.

Marine Police Lieutenant Colonel Wanlop Phuangbaka told AFP that they were still searching for the missing divers: two Australians, two Swiss, one German, one Japanese and one Thai. Police boats and a navy helicopter have joined the search.
